Technical issues on Android?

Technical difficulties interrupting your flow? We're really sorry for any inconvenience! Our tech team are always hard at work improving the experience, but sometimes things can go wrong.

Please check out the info below for some troubleshooting steps that can help to resolve the most common technical issues.

The TouchNote app is updated regularly both on iOS and Android. To make sure you always benefit from the latest updates and bug fixes, we recommended enabling 'auto-update'.

To do so on Android, open the Play Store and search for TouchNote. On the app page, tap on the three dots in the top-right, and make sure that 'Enable auto-update' is ticked in the options that appear.

Alternatively, check the Play Store regularly to make sure you're always updated to the latest version of the TouchNote app.

If you're using the latest version, the next step is to try clearing the cache. The quickest and easiest way to do so is to simply open the app, tap on the icon in the top-left to open your account settings, and tap 'Log out'. Then close and restart the app, and log back in.

Note: Logging out and clearing the cache will force an app refresh that may resolve technical issues being experienced. However, please be aware that it will delete any drafts in progress, as these are stored locally on your device.

Tried everything and still experiencing problems? Please drop our team an email at help@touchnote.com and we'll be happy to help further!

Where possible please let us know what device you're using and a brief description of the issue at hand. If appropriate, please also include any screenshots or screen recordings that may help our team to investigate.
