Postcards & Greeting Cards

Modified on Wed, 29 Apr at 4:45 PM

Want to know how our cards work? Here’s a quick overview of the options available.

What’s the difference between postcards and greeting cards?

Postcards:
- Photo on the front, message and address on the back
- Sent without an envelope

Greeting cards:
- Folded card with your message inside
- Sent in a TouchNote envelope

What will my card look like?

All cards are printed on thick, high-quality card stock.

Postcards have a glossy, laminated finish to help protect them in the post. Greeting cards are designed to feel more like a traditional card, complete with an envelope.

You’ll always see a preview before placing your order.

Can I send a card to myself?

Yes - you can send cards to your own address if you’d like to receive them first.

Simply designate a 'Home' address in your address book. Then, when sending greeting cards to yourself, you'll have the option to have them arrive blank with a spare envelope, so you can add your own handwritten message if you prefer.

Can I get an envelope with a postcard?

Postcards are always sent without an envelope, with the recipient’s address printed on the back.

If you’d prefer an envelope, you’ll need to choose a greeting card instead.

Will my photos print clearly?

For best results, we recommend using high-quality images.

As a guide:
- Photos should ideally be at least 1000 × 760 pixels
- Higher resolution images will produce better results

Most photos taken on modern smartphones will print clearly.

Are there any language restrictions?

Most languages are supported.

However, some right-to-left languages (such as Arabic, Hebrew, and Urdu) are currently only supported on iOS.
